Hey, I’m Chelsea.

I'm a communications strategist, event producer, and community-builder with over a decade of experience working at the intersection of nonprofits, philanthropy, and social impact. I've led campaigns, built programs, produced events, and written the reports, decks, and donor appeals that kept the lights on and the mission moving.

I also know what it's like to build from scratch. I'm the founder of the You Aren't Alone Project, a nonprofit dedicated to changing conversations around mental health through art, storytelling, and community programming — live events, creative retreats, workshops, and a podcast. Building that organization taught me everything about what it actually takes to grow a community and keep it alive.

I started Gravel Road because I believe mission-driven organizations deserve the same quality of strategic support that well-resourced companies take for granted. My job is to be the capacity you don't have and to build systems so you're not dependent on me forever.

I'm also the co-founder of InsightsOut, an emotional learning platform for individuals and teams. That work keeps me sharp on what it takes to build something new and genuinely humble about how hard that is.

I've partnered with organizations across the country in education, housing, immigration, arts, and social services to help them show up more clearly, connect more deeply, and build the infrastructure to sustain both.
